Jimbaran Bay Beach of Bali

Jimbaran is a name of fishing village before 1980 was a nice white sandy beach facing Indian ocean and sun sets. The location is on a bay between the cape of Nusa Dua and airport Ngurah Rai.

Jimbaran is one of Bali’s most popular sea-side resorts. With its relaxed and friendly atmosphere, this beachside paradise is the perfect place for those who find the pace of life in nearby Kuta a little too strenuous.

Jimbaran is also a sleepy cove where fleets of fishing boats blush the panorama. With is perfectly shaped bay and its quit waters providing safe swimming, Jimbaran is an ideal location for family holidays.

Some of the region’s finest hotels have been built on Jimbaran’s sandy shores, including the awarding winning Four Seasons Resort, the Inter-Continental and the Pansea Puri Bali.

Jimbaran is also a popular spot for windsurfing and sailing small craft. You will find many boat on a local shop which are available for rent, the grey sand and calm waters are very attracting people, the beach still has a sleepy feeling.

On the western side of the hill, Bali's southern peninsula, lies the once sleepy fishing village of Jimbaran. Take a walk along the beach, and perhaps a sunset drink at one of the big hotels, which all welcome visitors.

An offshore reef offers protection from the wave action, providing excellent swimming waters. Jogging is widely the most popular sport in Jimbaran beach and is especially tempting in the covered glow of sunset (Jimbaran is also a popular spot for spectacular sunset).
