Lovina Beach with Dolphins

An absolute must for each visitor is, the ”Dolphin Watching”. Early in the morning we went by boat, with breath-taking sunrise, out to the sea and within 1 hour we were surrounded of a lot of Dolphins. For us it was an extraordinary special experience, which we would not like to miss.

The hilly backland of Lovina Beach, situated south of the main road Jalan Raya Singaraja-Seririt, is characterized by its rural nature of traditional, pittoresque peasant villages, its many cozy little warungs, the hospitality of its friendly local people, and its breathtaking panoramas with ocean, ricefield and mountain views.

The most welknown villages of Lovina's immediate backland are the village of Selat, and the among expatriats popular village of Kayuputih-Melaka.

As soon as you have reached the pass of Wanigiri the roads starts to wind down, passing the Yeh Ketipat temple and the Gitgit waterfalls, on to Singaraja. At Singaraja you turn left, following the coastal road to Lovina.

In the western part of Singaraja, long stretch of black sand beach encompasses Anturan, Tukad Mungga, Kalibukbuk, Kaliasem and Temukus villages collectively called Lovina.

Lining up of busy losmen and hotels with the depleted shady sea makes Lovina one of the most stirring beaches in Bali.

Tranquility, incredible under water world and dolphins are the magnetism of Lovina.

From Lovina, visiting Pulau Menjangan, which is a part of West Bali National Park will be interesting for diving lover.
